This new house is constructed in timber frame throughout and clad in western red cedar boarding and white render. High levels of insulation have been achieved using cellulose (recycled newsprint) and underfloor heating provides additional comfort, backed up by a centrally located wood burning stove.

An open plan ground floor layout allows views of the garden to be enjoyed from the kitchen.  The master bedroom on the upper floor connects with the ground floor by means of an open gallery. A cantilevered balcony provides stunning views overlooking the surrounding countryside.
